Dr. Carl Patrasso author and psychologist is host of the "Dream Interpretation Show".
Dr. Carl has appeared on the television ABC 15 show "the List" with Brien McElhatten, also the ABC Emmy award winning, Windy City Live. Dr. Carl has appeared on the AZTV Morning Scramble show with host Pat McMahon to discuss his book Dreaming for Success. Along with other television appearances over the years is included a interview with Catherine Anaya. He has also been invited as a guest to interpret caller's dreams on the Larry Manetti radio show from Los Angeles, CA., and has been interviewed on the Chicago podcast show the Fishbowl. Dr. Carl has participated in the world famous Sedona Psychic Fair in Sedona, AZ.
Dr. Carl has practiced Clinical and Forensic psychology for twenty-five years in Arizona. Dr. Carl has been a mental health expert for the Arizona Superior Court, Adult and Juvenile Divisions; Dr. Carl has served with the Phoenix Union High School District as a psychologist. Dr. Carl has had a significant career of service with the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, he served as a Chief Psychologist at Eagle Point, Adobe Mountain and Black Canyon Schools; Dr. Carl was the Community and Treatment Coordinator for the Parole Violators Program; and he served as Clinical Director of the Northern Region, Arizona. Dr. Carl served with the Arizona Department of Health at the Arizona State Hospital as psychologist for the Behavioral health and Forensic programs. In the private sector he served with Contact Employee Assistance, Inc., as manager, supervising psychologist and educator. Along with his public service Dr. Carl has done volunteer work as a psychologist for the City of Scottsdale at the Scottsdale Senior Center; and for Florence Crittenden, and the Franciscan Renewal Center, and the Maricopa County Jobs Program.
Over the past twenty-five years Dr. Carl has practiced psychology as a humanistic psychologist focusing on the healing effects of unconditional positive regard. Dr. Carl creates a therapeutic environment of calm, openness, self-disclosure, acceptance and empathy.
