Thanks to technology, entrepreneurs have access to online assistance, websites, and apps for a very reasonable budget. It is worth the time to learn more about these resources to be more efficient, and leverage your time. Over the long run it may make you more profitable while also freeing up your schedule.

Sales and lead generation is one of the main things every business man (or woman) needs to constantly stay on top of. Here are some tips to help automate the process:


  • Email sorting to folders, and auto responders for standard received emails
  • Automate your email follow up with weekly emails to reach out to prospects
  • Email blasts (and follow up) thru CRM services like Infusionsoft or Salesforce
  • Create webinars to explain your products and services that can be watched at anytime
  • Organize your Social Media re-post thru services like Hubspot
  • With articles you write, repost on your social media and blogs for more content

  • It is helpful to also develop tutorials to help current clients use your services better
  • FAQ's are useful that address certain questions that prospects or clients usually have - Create  emails, pdf's, blogs, webpages etc. to address these questions, and also use for more content
  • Create video content for FAQ questions, and post on YouTube or Facebook Live
  • Remember, people take in info in different ways, so having your content in different formats like blogs, videos, etc. helps
  • Automate the sale renewal process with email reminders to clients that helps them stay organized
  • Media Kits, Proposals, and Sample Contracts to send to prospects all help with streamlining a potential sale
  • For buying leads, research list brokers like Salesgenie, to find the ones that can provide the best type of information to market to the right prospect for your business
  • VA's (virtual assistant) can be very helpful with outsourcing to accomplish the daily tasks that are not the best use of your time. VA's usually work remotely, and be cost effective, services like Upwork have VA's, and other freelance help
  • There are numerous websites / blogs to help with further information on sales automation like Marketing Rocket
  • Keep Getting Educated - LinkedIn, Infusionsoft, Hubspot, and many other service sites have video, and blog tutorials to teach you how to leverage the web / social media
  • YouTube is also full of video content on a variety of sales or marketing topics you need help with
