Charlie Gracey in the early 1970’s was involved in synthetic oils, then called fake oil owning, a network of distributors on the Eastern seaboard and selling his private label through his network for about ten years. He had an offer to sell his business and relocate from Florida and move to Houston, Texas managing a major oil company’s synthetic division for five years.

Charlie then had an opportunity to formulate, manufacture and sell a variety of specialty spray lubricants and cleaners within a line of ten products from Phoenix. He built a network of whole sellers nationwide to resell the product line and acquired several private label opportunities from major corporations to sell his formulas under their labels.

Also, through the 1990’s his corporation was the state distributor for Sunoco oils and greases, and also was heavily involved in selling gas, diesel and specialty fuels. Also in the early 1990’s Charlie, with well known friend, dabbled in the entertainment industry, recording and signing artists under his record label, “Town & Country Records”. As well as promoting concerts with major acts in Phoenix and other cities for a few years.

In the year 2008 product material to formulate his product line became extremely expensive and the economy started a downhill turn. Competition with other known product lines became difficult and an opportunity to sell his business to a foreign market became a reality. He then had the opportunity to work in radio with the leader in internet radio and did so for several years until he decided to launch his own radio show in May of 2012 as the Charlie Gracey Show. On April 30th, 2018, Charlie moves The Charlie Gracey Show to Independent Talk 1100 KFNX at 11 A.M. on Mondays. Again with great show lineups, this is the best move he has made in his radio career.
