The Wellness Roundtable Radio Show hosted by Dr. Spierer and Dr. Weiss

The Wellness Roundtable Radio Show is a new and innovative program focused on educating and informing listeners while promoting the importance of positive health practices. The show will feature fitness and health experts who can debate and discuss topics of interest in the areas of science, education, athletics, etc… and their impact on industry and quality of life. With various guests and segments this show is designed to make a significant impact on individuals who have questions about their health and fitness and empower them to become active participants in their own well-being.


The radio show is co-hosted by Dr. David K. Spierer and Dr. Scott Weiss. Dr. Spierer achieved his doctorate in applied physiology from Columbia University and is a former associate professor and Director of Exercise Science at Long Island University Brooklyn. Dr. Spierer has over 20 years of experience in the areas of cardiovascular physiology, strength and conditioning, and martial arts and has presented and published work in the areas of nervous system function, athletic response time, activity trackers, and exercise in Parkinson's disease. Dr. Scott Weiss is a licensed physical therapist, board certified athletic trainer, and registered exercise physiologist, with over twenty-five years of experience. Dr. Weiss has worked with elite athletes including United States Olympic Teams, National Football League (NFL), National Hockey League (NHL) and the New York Liberty-WNBA. Dr. Weiss is the owner and clinical director of Bodhizone for Human Performance & Sports Physical Therapy, PC. His area of expertise in physical therapy is knee and shoulder rehabilitation. He also has research interests in biomechanics of movement and cardiac rehabilitation. As an author and lecturer, Dr. Weiss has written several articles on wellness and fitness and has presented his work nationally and internationally.
